Three simple ways to achieve goals faster

Goals – goal setting are the single most crucial step you can take in moving out of mediocrity into excellence.

Many people ignore the importance of goal setting; despite it being necessary for achieving a successful life.

As human beings, we all want to grow, achieve more, be successful, and realise our dreams.

The truth of the matter is unless we have a goal in life, we are just floating through life aimlessly.

Incredible as this may seem, but our brains are hard-wired for learning, for growing and indeed for direction.

Without goals, why would it matter which road you take, you’re not going anywhere.

For one thing, a mind without direction will undoubtedly lead to living life without direction.

For example, goal setting can be compared to setting your destination in your car’s GPS.

Once set, you follow a set of pre-determined way-points to your final destination, in contrast, to figuring out how to get there.

Having decided upon your goal and the action steps you’re going to take to achieve it.

Here are three easy ways to achieve your goal faster than you can say ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’.

Here are my three simple tips to achieve your goals faster

1. Goals must have clarity about what you want.

Become crystal clear about what you want.

Indeed, clarity of purpose is essential to goal achievement.

Be not only specific about what you want, but also flexible about the process of achieving it.

Furthermore write your goals out with as much detail as possible.

Vividly connect with pictures of your goal in your mind, see them as already achieved in a bright colour.

Don’t be afraid to dream big, but be realistic in your goal setting.

With this much clarity, you will be able to reach your destination in the shortest time.

2. Chunk your goal down.

Break your goals down into small bite-sized chunks.

Create simple action steps that you can complete daily.

Each one of these steps should be designed to take you closer to your desired goal.

In addition to the successful completion of these steps, you will be rewarded with a feeling of accomplishment.

Furthermore, you will be continually motivated and driven to design and complete further action steps.

3. Make a Movie

Visualize and emotionally connect with your completed goal.

Create a movie of your completed goal in your mind, what do you see? What do you hear? What do you feel?

You are the producer, director and lead actor in your movie, making it as bright and as colourful as you like.

The idea here is to create a compelling forthcoming attraction for your excitingly new and fantastic life.

Your unconscious loves this; it gives it a purpose and direction.

Practice this exercise every night before going to sleep and every morning before going to work.

Goals in summary

Goal setting is a fundamental part of being successful.

Having a high-performance unshakable mindset takes some effort, but it’s well worth it.

Believe you can do it and never-give-up.

If you consistently connect emotionally with your completed goal in your mind, you will achieve the great things.
